A new church family is taking root here — gathering for honest worship, verse-by-verse Bible teaching, and the everyday life of following Jesus together.
Fremont Springs is a Calvary Chapel being planted out of Heartland Springs Calvary Chapel in Grand Island. We're not parachuting in — we're being sent, prayed for, and supported by a sister church who's done this work for years.
Our vision is simple: open the Bible together, sing honest songs, share real meals and real life, and trust the Spirit to grow what only He can grow. No fog machines. No celebrity culture. Just Jesus and a family.
"Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. The water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." — John 4:14
Our sending church in Grand Island, Nebraska. Pastor Sam Lewman and the Heartland family have been praying for and preparing this plant, and they continue to walk alongside us as we launch.
Visit Heartland SpringsLike every Calvary Chapel, we hold to a handful of distinctives that shape who we are. They're not slogans — they're how we actually do church, Sunday after Sunday.
We walk through the Bible book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. The whole counsel of God — not just our favorite parts.
Music that helps you actually sing to Jesus. A space where worship isn't performance — it's the church's heart turning Godward.
Sundays are only the start. We share meals, pray for each other, carry each other's burdens, and build friendships that last decades.
We make room for the Holy Spirit to lead, comfort, convict, and gift His people — without sensationalism or fear.
Kids are part of the family. We teach them the same Jesus, in their own language, with as much care as we teach the adults.
Fremont is our neighborhood. We're here to love it, serve it, and pray for it — long after we cut a ribbon on a building.
First visits can feel uncertain. Here's the short version of what happens on a Sunday at Fremont Springs.
Worship, an open Bible, prayer, and a chance to meet folks afterward. We're not in a rush.
Jeans and a flannel, or a Sunday best — both fit. What matters is that you're here.
Children stay with families during worship; childcare for K–5 begins after the last worship song.
Strong, and free. Stick around after service — it's the best part of Sunday for most of us.
Bringing your kids to a new church for the first time is a big deal — we get it. Our children's ministry uses background-checked volunteers, secure check-in, and age-appropriate teaching that matches what's happening in the main service. Kids learn the Bible too, just in a way that fits them.
Ask us about kidsChurch plants don't happen because of one family — they happen because dozens of people quietly choose to pray, give, and show up. If God has put Fremont Springs on your heart, here's how to step in.
Join our prayer list and we'll send a short update every month — what God is doing, where we need wisdom, and how you can stand with us in prayer.
Join the prayer listLaunching a church takes resources — a place to meet, a sound system, kids' supplies, support for the pastoral family. Every gift makes a real difference.
